My Darcy List:

I've decided to start my blog by borrowing Dave's Darcy list. For a definition, you can see his blog.

I must agree with the “creative” baby names…kids want a name they won’t get teased about, and one that their teachers don’t have to learn to pronounce with every passing school year. People I used to work with named their daughter Paisley...I just can't condone it (nor can I condone Londyn, no matter how much I like her parents).

Seafood-tried it, several times, including dishes prepared in several countries. I just can’t stomach it-who would pay out the ears for a lobster tail when they could tuck in with a good steak instead?

Bird Flu-because I’ve spent years trying to understand viruses, I’d like to think myself something of an expert…the likelihood of the right mutation occurring is very small, and I think a lot of the hype is media related.

Texas-not that it isn’t a great place or anything, but with the way Texans love it, I guess I was expecting something incredible…probably it’s just all the build-up ruining something that would have been perfectly wonderful if not for the un-realistic expectations I brought with me.

That's all for now, but there's sure to be more.
